In yesterday’s match, we saw two great cricket teams with India vs New Zealand and it was definitely a battle to be remembered. Whichever team won would move on to meet host Sri Lanka in the final of the tri-series.

This match was somewhat of a lopsided game favoring India. Right from the beginning, the Indian bowlers were firing with power and accuracy that left the New Zealand team off to a very poor start. Six of New Zealand’s top batsmen could not even get past the double figures mark. The only real success from Team New Zealand was Kyle Mills who made 52 runs before getting out as the last at bat.

At the end of the match, India had a very convincing win as they defeated New Zealand by 105 runs.

Just about the entire Indian team had things going their way and they will move on to the final of tri-series to face Sri Lanka. That match will take place on August 28th, 2010.
