Cellmania

Cellmania : SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones) - BlackBerry maker Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) has purchased mobile software Cellmania Inc., a move that could help the manufacturer build a smartphone app store fort to fend off competition from Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhone and Google Inc. (GOOG) Android.

Cellmania, based in Mountain View, Calif., makes software that allows content owners to track their use, the bill for subscriptions and integrate billing accounts. This can be useful in constructing software stores that sell downloadable content and helped to push the adoption of smartphones.

"Our team has joined RIM's global organization and we continue to provide our expertise in creating a store under the BlackBerry platform," Cellmania said in a statement on its website.

No financial details were released. RIM declined to comment, while Cellmania has not responded to a request for further comment.

The agreement comes as RIM struggles to regain its footing in the smartphone market increasingly competitive and, despite recent difficulties. new company product, the BlackBerry torch, began with tepid sales. In addition, several countries have asked RIM to enable them to monitor emails on the BlackBerry network, a development that has turned privacy.

The disturbing news has weighed on the share price of RIM, which has dropped 26% since the beginning of the year. Last Friday, the investment bank Morgan Stanley has recommended that investors sell their shares in RIM.

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods : LOS ANGELES, Calif. -

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren finalized their divorce yesterday, but speculation has already begun over the details of the couple's former secret regulations.

According to court documents obtained by Access Hollywood divorce, the couple share custody of two Sam, 3, and 18-month-old Charlie. The first parents announced that they co-parent when they issued a press statement Monday, after news of their separation.

Click HERE to read the petition Nordegren for dissolution of marriage. Click HERE to read the waiver Tiger period.

Guard would have been a key issue for both Woods and Nordegren in their rules closely guarded secret, people reported.

Divorce lawyer Neal Hersh, who does not represent either party, told Access Hollywood that the agreement may even give Nordegren permission to take the nation's children.

"I would not be surprised if, for example, it has the right to take them to Sweden in the summers, Christmas or holiday or something like that," he said.

Nordegren just the place. She bought a property for $ 2 million waterfront near Stockholm last year, which has since been renovated.

The divorce papers also indicate that the couple has undergone parenting classes online, something Hersh has said is not uncommon.

"I do not know what the system is there, but obviously these are very high profile people and I'm sure if there was a method to do online that these two took advantage of that," he said .

As for the settlement Nordegren cash secret, it is speculated to pay Nordegren Woods is somewhere between the figures of $ 100 - $ 500 million, reported by both NBC's "Today" show and CBS 'The Early Show " .

Darren Rovell CNBC was surprised to see the British newspaper The Sun earlier suggest a number as high as $ 750.

"Tiger is the total net value of approximately one billion dollars in order to think she would be 75 percent of all the money he earned during his career of 14 years is stunning and not possible" , "he told Access Hollywood. "I do not expect the money to end more than 100 million dollars."

Earlier this summer, Forbes discredited theories that the divorce settlement worth 750 million dollars because they believe that Woods is worth 600 million dollars.

Nordegren silence is planned to be part of the agreement, but what it means for a person close to him could tell his story instead? Rovell said it was unlikely.

"There are a lot of money on the line here for those who violate the secrecy of this regulation, and they will be persecuted," he told Access.

Rovell warbled a jab at the newly single signature Woods, "available at Woods on Monday, noting that instead of Tiger Woods, it seemed that the golfer says" dude "policy.

"It almost makes it look like" dude shop "with a couple squiggles in between," he said.

Hitler Dna

Adolf Hitler was found to descend from Jews and Africans, whom he despised, after numerous DNA tests, according to reports on Tuesday.

Journalist Jean-Paul Mulders and historian Marc Vermeeren took saliva samples from 39 family members of former German dictator, including a cousin who was an Austrian farmer named "Norbert H" and a great-nephew, named Alexander Stuart-Houston, who is an American, according to British newspaper the Daily Mail ..

Mulders Vermeeren and obtained a DNA sample following Hitler Stuart-de-France for a week. He dropped the used towel on the ground and they took samples of it. The DNA on the towel brought them to the rest of the family of Hitler.

The duo found a chromosome called Haplopgroup E1b1b "(also Y-DNA), which during the time of Hitler, was rare among people living in Germany and Western Europe.
Stubs

* Grave Nicolae Ceausescu was exhumed for DNA sample
* "Mitochondrial Eve" lived 200,000 years ago, scientists say

"It is most often in the Berbers of Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Tunisia as well as among Ashkenazi and Sephardic," Vermeeren told the Daily Mail.

DNA was observed under strict conditions in a laboratory, both said.

Historians have speculated that Hitler's grandfather was Jewish and knew the former dictator, doing everything in his power to conceal the fact.

"Concern about Hitler's descent was not improper. It apparently was not "pure" or "Aryan", Ronny Decorte, a specialist in genetics, says Daily Mail.

Mulders told the Belgian magazine Knack to this conclusion, people "can start from this premise that Hitler was linked to people he despised.

Joe Miller Alaska

Joe Miller Alaska : With votes still being counted in Alaska, the border state GOP Senate reviews all the primaries, but ready to give birth to Sarah Palin-lite Tea Party sponsored by Joe Miller as a Republican candidate for Senator. For Senator Lisa Murkowski holds, the potential loss may be a bitter pill to swallow in particular.

When Sarah Palin catapulted Fairbanks attorney Joe Miller on the national scene in a Facebook post in June, the Conservative candidate seems to have reached only a small chance against the political legacy of the Murkowski family that Sarah Palin knows this well.

The Palin-Murkowski political rivalry has been launched celebrated when Palin was denied the chance to inherit the seat in the Senate of the father of Lisa Murkowski, Frank, when he was elected governor in 2002. Then-Gov. Murkowski chose his daughter to fill the spot instead. In 2006, however, Palin took their revenge when she knocked Murkowski in the Republican primary for governor and eventually won the election. And, when she resigned from this role as governor just two years after his last summer term, perhaps Murkowski revived the flames of hatred when she blasted Palin for having "decided to abandon the state. "

And yes, The undertones of the rivalry Palin, Murkowski has always existed in close competition, so they are mostly dormant until Sarah (and Todd) Palin has taken to Facebook again last Friday and heated up to rhetoric in a way aggressive fundraising.

After repeatedly attacking Murkowski "Liberal record of vote" and consider a "RINO Senate," Palin wrote: "Let us raise $ 1,000 for each of 30 years, this seat in the Senate has been locked by the Murkowski family. The only way for our state reach its full potential and to save our country is to elect reformers who will fight for Alaska and across America and stand against the liberal agenda in Washington. "

Murkowski could not help but take it personally.

The tone was directed against me, rather than why you should support Joe, "said Murkowski Shushannah Walshe's Daily Beast, in an interview." But it did put a little dig here about my family, and you can not help but notice when she said she encouraged people to pony up the bulk of $ 1,000 to raise $ 30,000, they want to win and that Miller would be $ 1,000 for 30 years, Family ... Alaska Murkowski locked. Suddenly, it was like, wait a minute, if I leave because you do not think I'm pretty conservative is one thing, but are you now suggesting that Frank Murkowski 's was not conservative enough and why do you loop him about it? Suddenly it became a little more personal. "

Ashley Bell

Ashley Bell:Young actress discusses her role as a possessed adolescent creepy horror film from producer Eli Roth .
Devil worship and people had always made for big things in horror movies. From classic films as Rosemary’s Baby “and” The Exorcist recent hits as House of the devil, spooky religion and possessed of demons have never gone out of fashion. Evidence of this can be found in the new horror film from producer Eli Roth (Hostel) called last demons, which opens in theaters on August 27.
The film, which stars Patrick Fabian (Must Love Dogs), Louis Herthum (I Love You Phillip Morris “) and Ashley Bell (State of Play), centers around the Reverend, who had lost faith in the church and took a documentary film crew with him, to prove that exorcism fraud. In the situation gets out of control when he tries to help a girl who actually possessed. We recently had the opportunity to talk with Ashley Bell, the actress, who plays a possessed young girl in the movie about her terrible new film, her favorite classic horror movies, if she believes in exorcism, and it was like working with Eli Roth. That’s what a talented young actress had to say:
First, the film feels very much like a return to classic horror films late 70′s and early 80′s as “The Exorcist” and “Poltergeist,” you think that was the tone of the film makers went to?

Ashley Bell:
You know, actually in preparation, Daniel said, to watch all the films and the Exorcist, then to not do this. So we were right from the start to something completely different, completely unique, and I think that the movie was this. This is a very clever and very funny in all the right places. I think this is a unique film Exorcist. On the set though, Daniel than about 20 to 30 took the stage, which is incredibly release as an actor, because it’s my first big movie. I welcomed to try anything and my opinion was welcomed, which you can go all my life waiting for something like that. So it was really safe environment to do anything.
Your role in the film is very physical, do not you ever become physically draining to do many takes in a row?

Ashley Bell
: Yes. Honestly, I love this part of the second that I read the breakdown. So every day I really welcomed the challenge and was glad to do all that physical labor and have the opportunity to play such a huge role. So I was very proud of all the bruises I received. They were the wounds of war.
What can you tell about your character, Nell, and that she is going through emotionally in the film?

Ashley Bell:
Well, Nell is 15 years old, and from the back woods Louisianan. She is very religious, and thought to be possessed. So when I read that you know, the theme of exorcism is so fascinating and there is always another turn, and to submit this issue. When I read about it, I liked his research. As an actress, that is something that catches my attention to and makes me, as much in character as possible. I tried to read every book I could find on exorcism. I interviewed people and visited Baptist churches in the valley, and all. So I just soaked up as much as I can on this subject, that can continue indefinitely. Since the actual tape, you hear voices and sounds that originate from a tape, you listen, and think that’s doable or a person. Then comes the sound, which is not a man, woman, man or animal, and you just listen and think, what is it? So I had to do a field day of my research.
At the beginning of the movie character, Patrick Fabian, Rev Marcus Cotton, lost faith in the practice of spells. Now that you have made this movie, and from the research that you did, you think, spells real?
Ashley Bell: Yes, it’s interesting, I’m not so questionable now, when I was entering her odd reason you think that it is fake or suggestion, but honestly, with the things that you hear, and some of the things that I read is not possible human beings, what is happening. Especially those tapes that I listened to when you hear that, as I said, not of this world. You really are, “What is this? My opinion on it is definitely changed. I think (the film) is very much through his point of view, the Rev. Mark Cotton, and he was confident, and so trusted he entered when he begins to doubt himself and his beliefs began to falter you how to behave very vulnerable and defenseless is wrong. I think that the horror and the expectation comes from the film.

You can discuss the fight, which begins to develop in the film between the father of your character, and the Rev. Cotton?

Ashley Bell:
Louis Herthum plays my father in the film, and an incredible actor. He is one of the most generous and giving actors work. Most of my scenes with him, and Patrick Fabian, who is also wonderful. Many scenes were just all of us shooting with Daniel and Zoltan, DP, and take after take off we were there for each other. I think that without trust, none of us could not achieve what we have done is really a gift for working with them.

The narrative film is set in a documentary style, is that correct?

Ashley Bell:
Yes. Rev. caused this documentary crew to help him clean on all their tricks at exorcism. He is a fake one on me that night, and then eventually all hell when the real thing comes.
Can we talk about manufacturers, Eli Roth and Marc Abraham, and their contribution to this movie?

Ashley Bell:

Mark was definitely on the set all the Strike Entertainment. They were very hands of them all the way to the end. They were very involved and invested in the project. You may feel that a lot of care went into making this film. I got a chance to see Eli in a little editing room and it was so cool because you actually see it building, the anticipation and the creation of the horror that he does so masterfully. It’s almost like mathematics. He will say: “Well, to cut this here and put it here.” He builds what he builds the tension and so that the tremor, he was very keen on this project. Between him and Daniel, I think they really have created something so unique and such a different brand of horror movie that I think that both new fans and horror fans will be happy.
Finally, if you had the opportunity to speak directly to the “old school” horror fans, what would you tell them to get them excited and interested in this movie?
Ashley Bell:
Well, I too was a fan of horror all my life, and you mentioned Poltergeist and Exorcist, and I grew up watching movies like that. I saw this film for the first time in the Los Angeles Film Festival, and then I actually went home and slept in my parents’ house in Los Angeles, because I am afraid of myself. This is very exciting, very scary, and it is something unique. I think people will be surprised by what they see.

Garmin Nuvi Recall

Garmin has announced that it will be recalling about 1.3 million Nuvi worldwide because of problems with the battery of the gadget.

Garmin said it had "identified the problems of overheating" which may make the device Nuvi a fire hazard.

Garmin said the battery supplier has agreed to share the cost of replacement batteries and the recall will not materially affect its financial results. According to Garmin, the Nuvi include those which are defective with the following model numbers: 200W, 250W, 260W and the nuvi 7XX (where XX is a two-digit number). The model number is located on the nüvi label on the back or bottom of the GPS device.

Garmin has launched a recall in 2009 of his BlueChart g2 and g2 Vision data cards. PC World said at the time, "the 2009 version of Garmin BlueChart g2 and g2 Vision data card provides incorrect information on the depth of water off the coast of Sweden and Denmark."

Glenn Beck News

Glenn Beck News : Apart from joining the locals in a deep laugh and satisfied on the whole "stay away the green line" issue, I'm not sure what to say about "this weekend Glenn Beck sings a song Of Myself "rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Oddly, people seemed very concerned about how it will place the same day of Mars history of Martin Luther King in Washington this week, despite the fact that it was known from the get-go. I never thought that this was necessary, but on the off chance you're confused as to whether Glenn Beck and Martin Luther King are the same person, here are some extensive research to show that Media Matters is not the case.

As Dave Weigel noted, it may be more interesting to be angry about "how bs Beck 's sales" of the rally. Not that this break with a tradition established Beck's! But as Ken Vogel Politico reported, what is remarkable is that the Act fameball Beck's starting to annoy some of its allies nominal growing skepticism of his reasons:

The rally and Beck's increased incursions politics have made him an object of suspicion among some conservatives, even though they recognize its influence and potential importance as a spokesman.

"The conservative movement is still divided on Glenn and if he does it to himself or failure of the movement," said Erick Erickson, founder of the influential conservative blog Red State. Erickson said he has offered to assist the team in Beck's political exploits, which in the past year have included a major battle with the White House, creating a network of perhaps hundreds political groups, and the keynote address at a major conservative political conference. "Until this issue is resolved, I think you'll see some groups are reluctant to go with him."

Some party leaders have rejected calls for Beck's tea to help the event because of concerns about his fiery rhetoric and fears that it seeks to capitalize on their expertise and organizational basis of credibility for his own interest Financial, providing little in return.

"They even give us a booth," said a leader of a group linked Tea Party that rejected Beck's prayers. "I was angry at their presumption that a relatively small organization like ours would be the use our ties to promote an event where Glenn Beck and FreedomWorks are presented, and we do not receive recognition at all. No Thanks. "

Well, Beck's promotion wildly melodramatic video of the rally, full of scamflackery Goldline nutlog and comparisons to Rosa Parks, the Wright brothers, and landing on the moon, will not do something to tamp growing skepticism:

Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane Katrina : Five years have passed since Katrina devastated New Orleans and other areas along the Gulf Coast, where nearly 2,000 deaths and total damage estimated at over $ 80 billion. The levee system failure and subsequent flooding of New Orleans triggered the damage or destruction of more than 200,000 homes in New Orleans and the displacement of over 800,00 people. Many of us have vivid images of the relief chaos that followed, so eloquently captured in Spike Lee's When the levies Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts.

I worked in Accra, Ghana's capital, during the Katrina disaster has occurred. The immediate reaction of one of my colleagues in Ghana has been to say, "America will rebuild New Orleans in no time!" With my natural cynicism, I asked, "Why are you convinced that America will respond quickly? "My colleague from Ghana replied," America is the richest, most powerful country in the world. You can even send a man on the moon. If America can spend billions of dollars on the wars in Iraq, it certainly can rebuild a city in no time. " He then proceeded to challenge me:

Of course, America is a country with a highly corrupt dirty history of oppression, injustice and slavery. While America loves to lecture on corruption in Ghana, all Africans know all about the no-bid contracts to Halliburton and its connections to your vice president.

He then qualified his initial statement, saying: "America could rebuild New Orleans in no time if she wanted."

When our conversation ended, I left with many thoughts in my head spins. I remembered outside the United States, people are often more aware of other countries, cultures, history and news that the Americans. This may be a reflection of America's education system, America is it incorporated into self-perception of exceptionalism or simply a negative side effect of America are so powerful. I remember the launch of the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and how pathetic, Colin Powell seemed to try to defend the invasion to come up with "evidence of weapons of mass destruction" that would not convince most students , let alone the rest of the world. I remembered the feeling of helplessness that the U.S. government insisted on a war with virtually no debate in Congress or in the media, while public protests have been actively suppressed. Finally, I reminded me of my grandfather's collection of front pages of newspapers. His favorite was the moon landing in 1969, as he insisted that the manned moon landing is the biggest event of all history, not only history of the United States. Mankind, he said, his eyes were fixed on the moon throughout history, and America will always be known as the first country to put a man in this country.

Five years later, I fear running into the same Ghanaian colleague. It would probably remember a poor government response to those suffering during Hurricane Katrina. He acknowledges the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers failures, questions of FEMA, the unnecessary death and the slow recovery of many parts of the city. It would soon swing the conversation to more recent events. He cites how the U.S. government can find so many billions of dollars to support banks, bankers and other financial and political elite, as well as pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but the way America is torn arguing about basic health care to all its citizens. He recalls the sad reality of American inequality has raised its head in the government's response to Hurricane Katrina. It reminds me of the obsession of the media for stories based on race in chaos and hooliganism, prominent images of armed National Guardsmen. Finally, he concludes that "any person, group or even the country's priorities are reflected in how they spend their time and money. America could rebuild New Orleans in no time if she wanted. "

My answer would be:

You are right that America can do almost anything, including the rebuilding of New Orleans in no time if she wants. We can not solve problems such as poor public education, incomplete and exorbitant cost of health care, high crime rates, imprisonment rates and huge massive inequalities that we want. It depends on how America choose to allocate its resources, including time and money. Remember, we were the first to send a man on the moon.

Koch Brothers

Koch Brothers : Yesterday, the New Yorker published a devastating investigation by Jane Mayer describes the efforts of the Koch family gathering movement Tea Party and much of the modern infrastructure right. It is based off the original statement carried by ThinkProgress, some of which I've published here (see "Acid Rain promoting denial climate - more than 20 years before David Koch groups" polluter).

It builds off of a joint effort of the PT and the progress of climate to investigate the financing of an exhibition David Koch terrible Smithsonian Institute (see "Must-see video: polluter-funded Smithsonian exhibit whitewashes danger human-induced climate change: Money poster Koch and doubtful to the credibility of the entire museum staff and science on the line ").

Mayer interview me and the auditor shall follow-up. Indeed, this piece is doubly devastating because the New Yorker is one of the few magazines that remain major controls has a line by line. The whole piece is worth reading. The end of the story focuses on Smithsonian:

The David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, is a multimedia exploration of the theory that humanity evolved in response to climate change. At the main entrance, viewers are confronted with a giant chart mapping the Earth's temperature over the last ten million years, which notes that it is much cooler than ten thousand years. Overall, the text reads, "Humans have evolved in response to a changing world." The message, as specified by the Web site of the exhibition is that "key adaptations of humans evolved in response the instability of the environment. " Only at the end of the exhibition, entitled "Our survival challenge", it is noted that carbon dioxide levels are higher now than they ever were, and they expected to increase dramatically over the next century. No cause is given for this development, there is no mention of any possible role played by fossil fuel. The exhibition seem a natural part of a continuum. The accompanying text says: "During the period during which humans evolved, the Earth's temperature and the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere fluctuated together." An interactive game of the exhibition suggests that man will continue to adapt to climate change in the future. People can build "underground towns" developing "short, compact bodies" or "curved thorns," so that "move in confined spaces will be no problem."

These ideas echo the message strangely Koch. Bulletin of the company to employees in January, for example, argues that "the fluctuations of humanity past climate of the earth," and concludes: "Since we can not control nature, we will find a way to agree with amendments thereto. "Joseph Romm, a physicist who runs the website ClimateProgress.org, is furious at the presentation of the Smithsonian Institution." Exposure whole issue of climate whitewashes modern, "he said. "I think the Kochs wanted to be seen as a kind of aristocratic society, associated with the largest natural history and science museum in the country. But the truth is, exposure is underwritten by major polluters in time who are donors basement of action to stop the efforts to deal with this threat to mankind. I think that the Smithsonian should have drawn the line. "

Cristian Samper, director of the museum, said the exhibition is not about climate change, and Koch described as "one of the best donors, we've had in my tenure here, because he is very interested by content, but hands off completely. "He noted:" I do not know all the details of his involvement in other issues. "

The Kochs have long relied on the public not to know all the details about them. They just exploit what David Koch has called "the biggest company you've never heard of." But the rise of the Tea Party, and with increased awareness of the links to the Koch movement, the brothers are more difficult to divert the discussion. Recently, Obama has attacked the policy of the Koch network. Speaking at a Democratic National Committee fund-Raiser at Austin, he has warned fans that the recent decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Citizens United in case struck down laws banning direct corporate spending on campaigns, had made it even easier for large companies to hide behind "groups with benign names such as Americans for Prosperity." he said, "They did not say who, exactly, Americans for Prosperity. You do not know if it is a company under foreign control" or even, he added, "a large company oil. "

Precisely.

Shining the light on the polluters who are hiding under rocks while funding multiple efforts to misinform the public that the climate of progress and TP are all about (see "Report: Exxon Mobil outspends Koch Industries on climate and clean energy misinformation ").

In the rest of this post I will explain extract of April.

Two things are clear, if you visit America's first museum of "science" - the National Museum of Natural History. First, the Smithsonian minimizes or ignores the risks posed by climate change caused by humans in a number of pieces. Second, the worst of the exhibition is the David H. Koch Hall of human origins.

Yes, the Smithsonian took 15 million from a billionaire polluter - which is a donor even more confused about climate science as Exxon Mobil - to fund an exhibition on the evolution and deceptive climate change . See also the new post Think Progress "A" Grateful 'denies Smithsonian greenwashing "philanthropist" David H. Koch dirty money. "

main theme of the exhibition is that extreme climate change in the past, man is very adaptable, an interesting theory based on limited data and much speculation. But its huge default is that it leaves visitors with the distinct impression that man caused by global warming is no big deal - even though our understanding of the serious threat posed by global warming is based on measurement, research and much more data.

This embarrassing episode in the history of the Smithsonian raises serious questions about how big polluters can pursue another strategy to influence how the science of climate is communicated to the public (see "Is Big Oil to buy a climatic exposure sweetened Science Museum in London?)

Google Realtime

Google Realtime : When we presented our research in real-time features last December, we focused on the development relevance to cost information on the web. Our objective was to provide real-time content from a complete set of sources, even within your usual search results. Today we make our AORE most significant improvements to date, which gives real-time information within its walls, and more powerful tools to help you find what you need. Now you can access Google in real time research at its own address, www.google.com / real time (the page is now deployed and should be available soon. Use this link if you want to try new features right away).

On the new home page you will find some Äôll excellent tools to help you refine and understand your results. Firstly, you can use the refinement to find geographic updates and news in your area, or in a region you specify. So if you AORE trip to Los Angeles this summer, you can see tweets from Angelenos to get ideas for activities happening where you are.

In addition, we added a Äôve view conversations, which can follow a discussion on the Web in real time. Often a simple tweet creates a great conversation re-tweets and other responses, but to put it together, you have to click a bunch of links and find out yourself. With the new, the conversation Äúfull characteristic of the AU, you can browse the entire conversation with a single glance. We organize the tweets from oldest to newest and the dash if you quickly see how the conversation developed.

Finally, we also added Äôve content updates to Google Alerts, which can stay informed on a topic of your choice. Now you can create an alert specifically for, Äúupdates, AU to get an e-mail when your subject is on Twitter or other services in the short form. Or, if you want to handle the volume of your e-mail, you can set email alerts to you once per day or per week.

See our video demonstration of new features and practical advice on how to use them:

You can access real-time search by typing www.google.com / real time directly in your browser, or by clicking the 'ÄúUpdates, link to the AU in the left pane of your results research. Set up your Google Alerts at www.google.com / alerts. In real-time search and updated in Google Alerts are available worldwide in 40 languages, and the refinements and geographic views conversations are available in English, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. The characteristics are rolling now, but you can use this link to see them right away.

Watch Two Moons on August 27

Watch Two Moons on August 27 : "The Red Planet Mars is about to be spectacular because it can be seen in the sky. Earth and Mars will be closest in 60,000 years. The next time Mars may come this close can be after several years of year 2287. The encounter between Earth and Mars will end Aug. 27 when the planet turns red within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be next to the moon the brightest object in the night sky. It will a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 seconds of arc wide. In his 75-power magnification, Mars will look as large as the full moon through the unaided eye.

On August 27, where two moons planets are closer to each other, Mars will rise at nightfall, and culminate into the sky at 12:30. As such, we will be able to see two moons in the sky - the moon is one real and one of the red planet Mars. Mark your calendars to see Mars as the second moon in the sky. It is a rare opportunity to any person alive will never attend the second event when it happens again. "

Apparently, it was an old e-mail in August 2003. If ever you have received it again today with a date of the event has changed today, August 27, 2010, deleted because it is just a hoax. In fact, NASA has reported that there are not two moonsof these Two moons that occur in the sky today, August 27, 2010. This rumor, as it is said, began in 2003 and was renewed at the end of August every year since. NASA has even stated that the sunset today, go outside and face west. You see the light shining through the dusk is beautiful Venus. Take a pair of binoculars and scan the sky around Venus. A few degrees to the right, you'll get a small orange object star. It is the red planet Mars.

After the phenomenal event in August 2003, Mars has another face to face with the Earth in year 2005. However, this event took place in October and not August. He also made a close approach in December 2007, but not as close as what happened way back in August May 27, 2003. According to astronomers, and not until 2018 will be our point of view of Mars is similar to that which was available in 2003 and it will not be before March 2287 will be closer to Earth than it did in 2003 .
